Trish (Patsy) Walker Might Put on the Spandex In Season 2 Of Jessica Jones

Since Jessica Jones came out on Netflix not too long ago, it has been a major hit and already received the green light for season 2. No big surprises there. One of the main successes in the series was Trish Walker’s relationship with Jessica, and how that contributed to the sort of hero Jessica is, and ultimately was a profound factor in defeating the Purple Man. So it is again, no surprise that fans want more of Trish and are eagerly waiting her arrival as Hellcat.

Now, how she’ll become Hellcat is still a mystery as it isn’t even truly confirmed that Rachael Taylor will get fitted for a suit this season, but it is definitely being talked about. Taylor vaguely hints at it in an interview with comicbookresources.com;

“I mean, I try not to get ahead of myself and think about it too much, because it’s easy to get carried away and think about things. I already feel like I have more than my share, in a way, being on Netflix, being in the Marvel Universe, being in this show that has resonated so deeply with people. But of course, I mean, it would be amazing. I mean, it’s already a privilege to play a history that has so much lineage within the Marvel Universe. And to take it that one step further is something that, yeah, I’d love to get my teeth stuck into whatever happens to the character.”

Obviously this is PR training at it’s finest, as we can only imagine that Trish will, at some point, become Hellcat in this amazing series.

As I said, season 2 has been confirmed but no date yet as it must fit in with the timeline of the other Defenders series.
