Check out this Avengers: Endgame Special Look below:

The one-minute special look happens to coincide with the start of ticket sale for the highly anticipated Marvel Studios event. As the remaining Avengers (and a few Guardians) try to build themselves back up again after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw half the universe dusted thanks to Thanos’ snap. It seems like there might be some hope after all. This clip also gives us our first look at Thanos again, and he doesn’t look like he’s going down quietly. Near the end of the clip, Thanos taunts our heroes. “You could not live with your own failure. And what did that bring you? Back to me.”

While very short, this clip does show Tony manages to get the Guardians of the Galaxy’s ship, the Benatar, back to Earth, while the surviving Avengers assemble and use it to go after Thanos. Notably, this time we don’t get another look at those white uniform suits that made such a stir last time. And we also don’t get any hints about what kind of plan the Avengers have beyond simply going after Thanos. There also looks to be a reunion between Cap and Iron Man that will most likely end bitter-sweetly.

Avengers: Endgame

“The relationship between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers was severed, and that was what put them in a vulnerable place when Thanos came in Infinity War,” co-director Anthony Russo said in an interview with Fandango just as tickets went on sale, “and I think is partially what led to their demise in that film, the fact that they were divided when the greatest threat they ever faced came to them. So there is definitely a throughline there. I mean, my brother [co-director Joe Russo] and I, of course, are very focused on story starting from Winter Soldier, because that’s where we entered the MCU. So for us, in our brains, on a storytelling level, we were threading a narrative from there.”

With the release of tickets and this special look, there have also been several new posters for varying formats and cinema chains released online. Artist Bosslogic announced he had been commissioned by Marvel & Disney for a poster that will be given out free at Atom Tickets events. IMAX also released their exclusive poster, which will be given out opening night. While, Dolby Cinema released their art sketch-heavy iteration. Check all three of them out below:

Disney has also announced “12 North America theaters (11 U.S. and one Canada), fans will have the chance to experience the Marvel Cinematic Universe like never before at the Marvel Studios’ 22-Movie Marathon. Starting Tuesday, April 23rd, fans will be able to see every film in the MCU, culminating with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame at 5 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 25th.” Yep. every single MCU movie will screen back-to-back, clocking in at a whopping runtime of 59 hours and 7 minutes long. If you’re a completist and want to revisit the entire MCU line-up on the big screen, this might be incredibly exciting to you.

Here’s the official synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.
