The trailer showcases the vibrant and chaotic picture of New York City. Frenetic energy and full of laughs, Uncut Gems has already had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival last month, where it was met with rave reviews, and later screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Now, with Uncut Gems, they are bringing Adam Sandler back into the fold, and possible Oscar talks with this new, feverish thriller. Sandler commands the screen with such a nuanced, giddy performance. Couple that with New York cinema that feels like the natural evolution of greats like John Cassavetes and Abel Ferrara and Uncut Gems is looking like one of the biggest indie hits of the year

The Safdie brothers have found success and acclaim with previous features Daddy Longlegs (2009) and Heaven Knows What (2014), they truly became breakout names in 2017 with Good Time. The film revolved around troubled robber Connie Nikas, who was depicted with a monstrously incredible performance by Robert Pattinson.
