Harley Quinn Season 2 Trailer: Catwoman and Mr. Freeze Revealed In DC’s Excellent Animated Series

Season One may have just ended last month but DC Universe is already bringing us more Harley Quinn as a second season trailer announces the show will be back April 3, 2020.

Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco in the titular role, who has just taken down the Joker and Gotham City is hers for the taking…whatever’s left of it that is. Gotham has become a desolate wasteland, left in ruins, following the huge earthquake caused by the collapse of Joker’s tower. Harley’s celebration in this newly created chaos is cut short when Penguin, Bane, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler and Two-Face join forces to restore order in the criminal underworld. Calling themselves the Injustice League, this group now stands in the way of Harley and her crew from taking sole control of Gotham as the top villains of the city.

Check out the trailer for Harley Quinn Season 2 below:

There are a ton of recognizable faces in here from returning rogue’s gallery icons like The Riddler, Bane, and Penguin to new faces such as the introduction of Catwoman, voiced by Sanaa Lathan, and Mr. Freeze, voiced Alfred Molina. This season promises to be ‘Bigger, Badder, and Raunchier’ than the first. Bring it all!

Harley’s crew from the first season consisted of Poison Ivy (Lake Bell), Harley’s best friend and possibly more; Clayface (Alan Tudyk who also voiced The Joker), a monstrous shapeshifter who desperately wants to get taken seriously as an actor; Dr. Psycho (Tony Hale), a diminutive telepath and former Wonder Woman adversary who finds himself losing prestige after one too many misogynist comments in public; King Shark (Ron Funches), a humanoid shark who prioritizes his wit and social media skills over his inhuman strength; and Frank (J.B. Smoove), Ivy’s foul-mouthed talking plant. All of them sans Tudyk (for now) set to return for the second season. Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Meloni, and Diedrich Bader as the voice of Batman also lent their voices to the cast, and several of them set to return.
