No Time To Die: Bond Is Back In A Mission That Will Change Everything

After a long delay, Universal & MGM have released the second official trailer for No Time to Die, the 25th Bond movie, and the fifth movie starring Daniel Craig as Agent 007.

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Check out the trailer for Not Time To Die below:

The cast includes Jeffrey Wright as Felix, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q; plus Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Rory Kinnear, and David Dencik. And judging by this latest trailer, it looks like we`re going to be getting quite the extravagant and stylish last outing of Craig as Bond.

The latest Bond flick comes from director Cary Joji Fukunaga, the person behind such films as Sin Nombre, Jane Eyre, and Beasts of No Nation previously, plus TV shows like HBO’s True Detective season one and Maniac over on Netflix. Fukunaga is the first American director to be given the reigns of the Bond franchise. Danny Boyle was originally set to helm the project but left due to creative differences. The screenplay is written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, and Scott Z. Burns, and Cary Joji Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was brought on by the strong request of Daniel Craig to pump up the writing.

MGM also released a new poster for the film which er… isn’t as good at the trailer, let’s just say that:

No Time To Die

Will Bond be able to help movie theaters survive in 2020? Too early to tell. No Time to Die was due to hit theaters in the UK on April 3, and on April 10, in the US, but will now hit theaters on November 12 and Stateside on November 20.
