If one thing changes, what kind of ripple effects would that cause? Marvel and Disney have released the official trailer for their forthcoming animated series What If…? which showcases compelling and reimagined famous events from films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, creating a multiverse of infinite possibilities. Fan-favorite characters return, including Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor, and more.
Marvel Studios’ first-ever animated series launches on Disney+ next month and will present interesting new twists on the previous stories of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Netflix’s reboot of the beloved 1980s cartoon will be released later this July, but the first trailer is already out for Masters of the Universe: Revelation!
The war for Eternia culminates in Masters of the Universe: Revelation, an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.
Apple has released a full-length trailer for the animated feature film titled Wolfwalkers, the latest project from acclaimed Irish animation filmmaker Tomm Moore, co-directing with concept artist Ross Stewart.
In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night. As they search for Mebh’s missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the Wolfwalkers and risks turning into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.
Disney’s 52nd animated feature is set to be Wreck-It Ralph – and we have the first trailer here…
It’s been directed by Rich Moore – who has worked on The Simpsons and Futurama. It stars John C Reilly as Wreck-It Ralph, Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) as Fix-It Felix Jr. and features Jane Lynch (Glee) and Sarah Silverman.
‘Wreck-It Ralph’ is the bad guy in the video game Fix-It Felix Jr, and for 30 years he’s been doing the same thing and he’s fed up of it – he wants to be the good guy. He abandons his game and sets off through the video arcade to prove he can be a hero. But in doing so he inadvertently releases a deadly threat that could unleash chaos across the entire video arcade.
This looks seriously cute. The nostalgia quotient is also quite high with cameos by old school game characters amongst the made up ones (how many could you spot?) Makes me yearn for the good old days (where did I put my Mega Drive?) Hopefully the story will live up to the trailer and not turn into a damp squib. It would be a real shame if such a great premise just fizzled out. At the moment this is a film I want to see…
The movie is currently set for a 3D release (obviously) this November.
I have two things to say before I delve into this article. Number one, I love Halloween. I love the spooky creatures, the crisp air, the jack-o-lanterns, the candy. Number two, I hate horror films. I really, really do. I was one of those kids that had nightmares from anything scarier than a Goosebumps book. Even in adulthood, the films are either too scary and the images haunt me for months, or too cheesy which just bores me. I’m the weirdo watching the History Channel specials about werewolves or reading Dracula for the 254,235th time. (A brief side note: if they ever decide to make a decent film adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel, I would most likely love it.)
