Todd & The Book of Pure Evil has been making waves lately. And for good reason. The reviews on the Season 1 DVD have been outrageously positive, and I expect more of the same as the Season 2 DVD is set to drop soon (in Canada, at least). We previously spoke with Todd himself, Alex House, and I think a good time was had by all. Or just me. Whatever. We’re here today with another member of the cast who we all know and love as Atticus Murphy Jr., Crowley High’s Guidance Counselor, which is what he is. I’ve made no secret of my love for Todd & The Book of Pure Evil, one of the best Canadian shows in a long time. The second season recently finished airing on SPACE in Canada, and will air on FEARnet soon. I urge you all to check it out, and prepare to have your brain destroyed. If you were a fan of the first season expect bigger and better things from the second, and if you haven’t seen the show yet I suggest you get to it immediately.

‘Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil’ Review: Episode 2 – ‘How To Make A Homunculus’

I love this show. Seriously. It’s easily one of my favorite on TV. Unfortunately, this episode isn’t one of my favorites. While it does have some hilarious moments and finalizes our beloved team of heroes, when compared to some of the other episodes of the series it doesn’t fully rate. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s get to the episode.

‘Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil’ Review: Episode 1 – ‘Todd the Metal God’

As a Canadian it is rare that I will have any advance knowledge of any series that is on American television. Usually we get it months after it’s released on one of our small selection of specialty channels. Or we download it, which I shouldn’t encourage but is pretty much the greatest thing ever.

So imagine how happy I was to be able to talk about a show that I’ve already seen numerous times, but is only just making its way onto the American channels. That channel is FEARnet, and the show is Todd & the Book of Pure Evil. A Space Channel Original Series that is based off of a short film of the same name, it’s sort of like Buffy meets Degrassi meets Tales from the Crypt. With hilarity, profanity, teen love, and Jason Mewes thrown in. Yea, Jason Mewes is a cast member. Didn’t I mention that?
