I saw Captain America: Civil War opening night and despite popular opinion, I was a bit disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s leaps and bounds better than the majority of other Marvel Cinematic Universe films, but I think the hype got to me and I left a little underwhelmed. So, if you loved it (and you probably did), don’t yell at me, I loved it too, my disappointment couldn’t outweigh my enjoyment. But I do have a few things I’d like to address…

Last night I was invited to participate in a discussion about the Marvel Cinematic Universe to this point, and how it’s been used to set up the events in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
As Civil War is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, the guys over at Culture Junkies have devoted the entire week to topics surrounding the film. I was happy to be involved.

We are fast approaching the release of the third Captain America film, which hits theaters in May. Today they dropped their latest trailer, and as well received as the last couple were, I would say this is gonna be the one people remember. Those who tuned into Jimmy Kimmel Live last night were given a pretty amazing treat as Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. brought the first officially released footage from the next huge film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Captain America: Civil War.
