Were we lied to when we were told that Colin Firth would not be returning for the Kingsman: The Secret Service sequel? First, the rumor was that he was indeed coming back, and then he was confirmed not coming back, and NOW the new poster is definitely, hinting at the fact that he will be back. Someone please explain to me what’s happening.

Kingsman: The Secret Service, Sequel to Begin Filming in March

When Fox brought Kingsman: The Secret Service to Comic-con last year I had no idea what to expect. I knew it was a comic and… that’s it. That’s all I knew about it. And for better or for worse, that’s more than most people knew about it. Then the cast walked out, and the director, and suddenly the crowd was roaring with excitement.
