Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 112 – Visions Pt. 1

Meet Foster Prentiss, the Amazing Mysterium, an eyeliner wearing scum bag in the city of Cuesta Verde who spends his nights duping the shit out of audiences with his smoking hot assistant. See, Mister Prentiss simply pickpockets the person and reads their license out loud, joking around after the person in the audience wouldn’t tell him his name. Through a two-way radio, Foster’s assistant has already looked up all of the audience member’s information from the license information and assists Prentiss in duping the viewers attending the show. What a douche!

Tales From the Crypt to Return?

Update – 1/7/16

After watching Femme Fatales on Cinemax, I’ve been thinking a lot about Tales from the Crypt, and how awesome it was. Femme Fatales is just like Tales from the Crypt, except it’s not so much horror stories, and there are tons of hot chicks. Like the ‘beyond hot’ hostess Lilith (Tanit Phoenix), who provides the opening and closing monologue, as did the crypt keeper. It’s a great format.

Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 111 – Till Death Do Us Part

For more Femme Fatales or if you’ve missed any past episodes – Click Here.

This episode of Femme Fatales started up like the female version of the Hangover, complete with a g-string, dead guy in the bed and a blow-up doll at the table. The main character Rachel (Jordan Madley) wakes up obviously hung over and panics finding the body. Who wouldn’t? From there the show takes on a flashback view on the events leading up to that morning, the story continuing after each flashback.

Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 107 – Haunted

Haunted starts out with an ominous voice over, implying things are about to go wrong. This is no surprise as we open on 2 people standing in a pentagram, reading from what appears to be a very old book. This is ‘Horror Movie Classic’ for “everyone is screwed”.

Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 106 – Girls Gone Dead

This week’s Femme Fatales, Girls Gone Dead, was about the wonderful world of the Girls Gone Wild type videos. Are those still around? In this episode, a sorority house is in need of money and agrees to shoot a ‘Crazy Chix’ video in exchange for $10,000 to avoid foreclosure.

Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 105 – The White Flower

This week’s episode kicked off with a bank robbery. Or more accurately, the hours  immediately following a bank robbery. Two men, Jimmy and O’Brien, occupy a hotel room with a stack of cash on the table. Jimmy (William Gregory Lee – Justifed, Dark Angel) is awakened from a post cop-killing nap to find his partner counting the massive amounts of they’ve recently acquired.

Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 104 – Speed Date

The 4th episode of Femme Fatales is their first real attempt at humor, and it wasn’t bad. As Speed Date begins there is a familiar sounding voice-over and a computer screen full of pictures. The voice is a man narrating his own online dating profile…

Cinemax’s Femme Fatales: 103 – Something Like Murder

Our 3rd episode, Something Like Murder, kicks off with a noise in the dark. A frightened wife awakens her husband to investigate, and that’s just what his does. Retrieving his trusty pistol he marches defiantly into his back yard to find a woman digging a large hole. He cryptically asks: “Mind telling me who your digging this grave for?”
