Dune: New Trailer Showcases All-Star Cast In Denis Villeneuve’s Adaptation

Warner Bros has dropped the second official trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s epic adaption of Dune, based on the classic sci-fi novel by Frank Herbert. This is the first time we’re seeing any new footage of the anticipated film since the first trailer debuted one year ago.

In the far future of humanity, Duke Leto Atreides accepts stewardship of dangerous desert planet Arrakis, also known as “Dune”, the only source of the most valuable substance in the universe, “the spice”, a drug which extends human life, provides superhuman levels of thought, and makes foldspace travel possible. Though Leto knows the opportunity is an intricate trap set by his enemies, he takes his Bene Gesserit concubine Lady Jessica, young son and heir Paul, and most trusted advisers to Arrakis.

Toys of Terror Trailer: Holiday Horror From The Creator Of Stan Against Evil

Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for the Christmas-themed horror movie Toys of Terror, being released direct-to-VOD at the end of this month. That’s right, it’s holiday horror just in time for Halloween. And if you were in the need of some creepy doll horror (complete with what looks like stop-motion animation) then you’ve come to the right place.

David & Hannah Cashman have promised their family a fun Christmas getaway, but when they arrive at a grand, old house in the snowy woods of Washington and are greeted by a familiar construction foreman, the kids realize their parent’s plan to make it a working vacation; renovating the place in the hopes of flipping it. Alicia, the eldest child, is annoyed but the younger kids are soon distracted when, wandering through the creepy mansion, they find a stash of old toys in an abandoned playroom and take to them instantly. Before long, they seem to be inseparable from their new playthings, much to the consternation of their nanny Rose who, along with Alicia, senses that something in the house is not quite right… As stranger and stranger things start to happen, Rose and Alicia have a hunch that there may be more to the history of the old house than the Cashman’s are letting on. Can the family escape with their lives – or will they stay forever in the crumbling house, never to celebrate another Christmas again?

New Suicide Squad Statues Are Perfect Sculpts Of DC’s Super Villain Team

DC Comics have done a great job of marketing their new cinematic universe. What they have done to combat the established Marvel / Disney film brand is to give us a different tone, a darker side of the super-world. The selection of trailers, which all seem to show different elements of the movies, have made it clear they will be a bit more adult than their Marvel counterparts.

When the first Suicide Squad trailer came out it had a dark and foreboding quality to it which set it apart from the bright and boisterous Marvel movies. With the release of this latest trailer DC and Warner Brothers have added an element of humor to it, while keeping the gritty realism they are going for. And with a kicking Queen tune on full blast it’s hard not to get a kick out of this trailer.   Continue reading New Suicide Squad Statues Are Perfect Sculpts Of DC’s Super Villain Team
