Fear Street Part 2: 1978 Trailer Brings The Friday The 13th Vibes This Summer!

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for their highly anticipated second chapter in their Fear Street horror trilogy, adapted from the R.L. Stine books of the same name.

Fear Street Part 1: 1994 told of a group of teens in the cursed town of Shadyside who took on a malevolent force that has plagued their home for decades. Part 2: 1978 now goes back in time to an earlier decade where the joys of summer camp turn into nightmares when a murderer stalks the grounds. The second film, though set in the late ’70s, actaully harkens back to the days of 1980s slasher films set at camps such as Friday the 13th and Sleepaway Camp, and judging by this trailer, those vibes are there in spades.

Random Acts of Violence Red-Band Trailer: Director Jay Baruchel Unleashes Some Gory Horror

Shudder has released an official red band trailer for the indie horror thriller titled Random Acts of Violence, the second feature film directed by Canadian actor-turned-filmmaker Jay Baruchel.

Comic book creator Todd Walkley (Jesse Williams), his wife Kathy (Jordana Brewster), assistant Aurora (Niamh Wilson) and best friend, Hard Calibre Comics owner Ezra (Jay Baruchel), embark upon a road trip from Toronto to NYC Comic-Con and bad things start to happen—people start getting killed. It soon becomes clear that a crazed fan is using Todd’s “Slasherman” comic as inspiration for the killings and as the bodies pile up, and Todd’s friends and family become victims themselves, Todd will be forced to take artistic responsibility.

Fear of the Woods Trailer: New Horror Film Features A Big Ass Animatronic Bear

Produced by Film i Öst, Paar Productions and Hammarström Agency comes Fear of the Woods, a mix of Jaws, The Edge and the 1980s anime Silver Fang. No CGI here, the new horror film features 100% practical effects.

Alaska 1993, A snowstorm has trapped the small mountain town. Now it’s up to a group of rebellious teenagers to save their town, which doesn’t believe in monsters.
